The purchasing process

The purchase price of our products should be paid in advance.

We tailor the kimonos after receiving your order, so it will take about two months to deliver them.

We kindly ask you to refer to our "Custom-made Kimono Process" page for more information.

If any shipment delay occurs, we will notify you by email separately.

*Please note that we do not accept any changes to the product or cancellation after payment is completed.

Shipping (domestic)

Shipping within Japan is free of charge.

*There are some items which require additional shipping fee, this will be stated under the product details page.

Shipping Fee (International)

We offer international shipping by EMS.

The delivery time will vary depending on the destination, but should take 3~5 business days after shipping.

Shipping costs vary depending on the weight of the ordered items and the destination country/region and are displayed on the checkout page.

If you would like to find out the shipping cost before placing your order, you can check the shipping cost per country/region in the shipping rate table here.

(Please note that the shipping fee table is the basic shipping fee, and additional fees may be added to this amount depending on COVID situation and fuel prices).

Your orders may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT) incurred upon arrival in the destination country.

Kimono Styles will not be responsible for any declaration charges. Customers will need to pay if any charges are incurred.

Shipping method(domestic)

Shipping will be handled by Courier Services.

Shipping method(International)

Shipping will be handled by Express Mail Service.

Cancellation Policy

Please contact us via this form immediately after you have placed your order.

The deadline for cancellations is 9:00 a.m. of the following day after the order is placed.

Please note that this policy is not applicable to some of our items. Some of our items cannot be returned or cancelled.

Returns and exchanges

If the item you received has any damages or defects, we will accept returns or exchanges within 7 days after you have received the item.

Please contact us with this form for returns or exchanges.

We will inspect the item to check its condition, before we confirm any returns or exchanges.
