1) One-touch Collar

The collars are pre-tailored with a deep neckline, so that it can easily be adjusted by anyone.

In addition, the collars are attached to the ‘nagajuban’ (nagajuban = under wear) as one piece, making it very easy to wear.

2) One-touch ‘Ohashori’

Adjusting the ‘ohashori’ part of a kimono is a very time-consuming part of wearing the conventional kimono, and if not done correctly, it can create a lot of wrinkles or creases.

We have simplified the ohashori by separating it out from the kimono piece.

In kimono fit®, we made “ohashori” separately from the kimono.

If you use the “One-touch ohashori“, you don't have to raise your waist.

3) One-touch Obi (waist-band)

One of the most time consuming and difficult part of wearing a kimono is wearing the Obi (waist-band). Typically, it takes approximately 15-20minutes to wear the Obi.

Typically, it takes approximately 15-20minutes to wear the Obi.

Feature 3

Comfortable to wear!

We outline below the key differences between the conventional kimono and our kimono fit®, to help you understand why kimono fit® is more comfortable to wear.

  • It gets very hot under a kimono, because a towel is typically wrapped around the body to maintain its shape.
  • Several waist straps are also used to maintain the shape, which can lead to some discomfort when wearing a kimono.
  • The lowered collar slowly starts returning to its original position, distorting the shape of the kimono.
  • We avoid dynamic movement to prevent the kimono shape from being distorted.

kimono fit®:kimono fit® products do not require any towels or waist-straps to maintain the shape, making it more comfortable to wear.

You don't need to get stuffy, and the waist cord won't bite into you.

The collars are pre-set at the correct angles, which helps keep the beautiful collar-shape for even when it is worn for a long-period.

They are also tailored to suit each customer, therefore it does not have any unnecessary excess fabric that could distort the shape or create creases.

kimono fit® is a new concept kimono which can be comfortably and beautifully worn for an entire day.
